, an investment and development company based in Colorado, has signed a 10-year lease at , a recently completed 30-story tower in Denver’s Central Business District.

Montfort Cos. will occupy Suite 1930, a number selected to of Monfort of Colorado. The company will move into its new headquarters in October of this year, joining notable tenants Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and Marsh McLennan.

“We wanted a space that could grow with us while keeping us rooted in the center of the city,” said Kenneth Monfort, executive vice president at Monfort Cos.

“We’re deeply committed to shaping downtown Denver’s future, and 1900 Lawrence gives us the infrastructure, energy and visibility to keep doing that work at a high level.”

With the recent launch of Monfort Investment Corp., the firm’s asset management business, a Tuesday morning announcement revealed the company sought a space that aligns with its growing team, expanded service offerings and long-term vision.

Just two blocks from Monfortap current office near Coors Field, 1900 Lawrence is a $400 million, 700,000-square-foot office tower developed by and designed by Goettsch Partners.

The building offers 10,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, six levels of above-grade parking and two levels of underground parking.

The firm said amenities were another key factor in the decision to relocate. 1900 Lawrence features various amenities, including a fitness center, rooftop pickleball courts, a golf simulator, multiple indoor and outdoor common areas and .

“Monfort Companies will be right at home in 1900 Lawrence,” said David Shirazi, senior vice president at JLL, who represented Monfort in the lease transaction.

“The quality of construction and depth of amenities set this building apart, offering the kind of elevated workplace experience thatap increasingly important in the downtown market.”

Monfortap lease also reflects its long-term investment in downtown, especially the Ballpark and LoDo neighborhoods, where the company is actively moving forward with a new mixed-use development at and 1320 20th St.

The project joins a growing portfolio of Monfort-led destinations in the area, including Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row and Riot House.

Denver-based Projex will lead the design and furniture selection for the new space.
