11 people indicted in metro Denver cocaine distribution scheme, over 9 kilos seized

Eleven people were indicted in a metro Denver drug distribution ring that led to police seizing over 9 kilograms of cocaine, announced this week.

The indictment returned June 26 details a group of men selling, purchasing and conspiring to distribute cocaine across the metro, including Denver, Aurora and Broomfield between August 2024 and this May, according to court records.

One of the suspects twice sold cocaine to an undercover detective, and the detective later surveilled the man and found he had sold 2 kilograms of cocaine to another customer, according to state officials.

“Fighting against the illegal drug flow has long been one of my priorities,” Weiser said in a statement. “Protecting Coloradans by holding traffickers accountable and keeping our communities safe is something we strive to do every single day.”
