Westbound Interstate 70 was closed Tuesday morning near Silverthorne for a vehicle fire, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

Westbound I-70 was closed between exit 216 for Loveland Pass and exit 205 for Colorado 9 in Silverthorne before 8 a.m. Tuesday, .

The interstate reopened later Tuesday morning.
