A driver who police say fled the scene after crashing into a motorcycle rider in south Denver was arrested on suspicion of two assault charges, according to the Denver Police Department.
Donald Zisch, 61, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of vehicular assault and second-degree assault, Denver police said on social media.
Investigators have been searching for the driver of a who crashed into a motorcycle rider in the 2700 block of South Broadway the night of Aug. 14.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries, and no update on their condition was available Wednesday.
Zisch is set to appear in Denver County Court on Sept. 2 for an advisement hearing, court records show.
