Death of man shot in Denver 8 years ago still unsolved, police say

The case of a man shot to death eight years ago in northeast Denver remains unsolved, and investigators are searching for leads, police said.

Kahari Oliver, 35, was shot at about 11:15 p.m. on July 13, 2017, in the 4200 block of Milwaukee Street, police said. His body was found in an alley between Milwaukee and St Paul streets, south of Interstate 70.

The shooting in the Elyria-Swansea neighborhood is being investigated as a homicide.

As of Sunday, no suspects had been publicly identified or arrested.

Anyone with information about the cold case is asked to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
