The victim of a suspected kidnapping in Northglenn was found safe Tuesday night, but police are still searching for the suspect.
Witnesses told investigators that a man forced his ex-girlfriend into his car during an argument overnight Monday and fled the area, .
Police put out an alert for a gold 2000 Honda Civic at about 3 p.m. Tuesday and found the vehicle within an hour. The woman was found safe later that night, but the unidentified suspect remains at large, according to an from Northglenn police.
Detectives were seeking a warrant for the man’s phone location, spokesperson James Burlison said. Additional information about the suspect or the woman who was kidnapped was not immediately available.
