Winning $3M Colorado Lotto+ ticket sold at Jefferson County supermarket

Ticket was purchased at Safeway in Conifer

Luck was on a lottery player’s side when they hit the $3 million Colorado Lotto+ jackpot Wednesday.

A spokesperson for the Colorado Lottery told The Denver Post that the winning ticket was purchased at a Safeway store in Conifer. According to the grocer’s online store locator, 27152 Main St.

Wednesday night’s were: 7, 15, 17, 28, 30, 31.

The person, who remains anonymous at this time, won a total of $3,071,596 with a cash value of $1,535,798.

About 69% of Colorado Lottery players are between ages 18 and 54, according to the lottery website. Proceeds from lottery sales are used to create, improve and preserve parks, recreational facilities, open space, trails and wildlife in every community across the state.

Since the Colorado Lottery began in 1983, it has returned more than to the people of Colorado.
