Denver’s Central Library will be open seven days a week starting in early November, with the branch open on Fridays as of Nov. 7, officials announced Thursday.
The new schedule is in response to community members asking for more hours, Denver Public Library leaders said in a news release.
“DPL continues to evaluate library hours across the system to ensure we’re meeting the evolving needs of our community,” agency officials said.
The curbside window will also be open one hour before the library building.
Denver Central Library hours starting Nov 7:
- Monday-Thursday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Friday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Saturday-Sunday: 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Updated 12:47 p.m. Oct. 24, 2025: Because of a reporter’s error, a previous version of this story listed the incorrect library opening hours for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The story has been updated.
