Police arrested the boy, who is not being identified because he is a minor, on charges of first-degree murder after deliberation and unlawful possession of a handgun, according to a release from the Aurora Police Major Crimes Homicide Unit. He is being held without bond pending his first appearance in court.

The 22-year-old man was fatally shot on Nov. 19 near the intersection of East 17th Avenue and Beeler Street in northwest Aurora.
