Original story: A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Denver’s Lincoln Park neighborhood on Friday, according to Denver police.

Police believe a driver in a gray Honda Accord Crosstour struck and killed the man as he was crossing North Kalamath Street near W. 11th Avenue around 7:42 p.m.

The driver did not stop after the crash, according to police, who on the driver’s identity. The man killed has not been publicly identified.

The vehicle may have “moderate to major” damage to the front passenger side bumper and headlight, police said in a Crime Stoppers bulletin.

A police department spokesperson did not answer questions about the circumstances of the crash and did not say whether the pedestrian was crossing with a light or in a crosswalk.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
