A crash on Vail Pass closed westbound Interstate 70 on Thursday morning as a snowstorm hit Colorado’s mountain corridor.
as of 12:30 p.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
CDOT reported the crash at 10:51 a.m. and a traffic camera just east of the summit showed at 11:25 a.m.
The crash involved one semitruck that jackknifed across the highway and no one was injured, Trooper Gabriel Moltrer said.
It was not immediately clear if the truck was using chains, which were required at the time of the crash.
