The Denver Fire Department first posted about the overnight fire in the city’s Central Park neighborhood at 9:32 a.m. Wednesday. The fire consumed roughly 2 acres near the lake, but no structures were damaged and no injuries were reported, fire officials said.

Investigators arrived Wednesday morning at the nature preserve, 11255 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., and were working to determine the cause of the fire, officials said.

Additional information about the incident was not immediately available on Wednesday.
