A Colorado man was found dead in a lake at Yellowstone National Park on Monday, federal officials said Thursday.
People on a boat on Yellowstone Lake saw the man’s body floating in the water near Rock Point, on the northwest shore of the lake near Bridge Bay, the National Park Service said in a news release.
Rangers recovered the man’s body, capsized kayak and personal belongings. Federal officials identified him as Brandon Rhea, 41, of Denver.
The case is under investigation, federal officials said.
This is a developing story.
