Thirty hours into NBA free agency, the Nuggets are on the board.
Denver is signing Marvin Bagley III to a one-year contract, a league source told The Denver Post on Wednesday night, confirming a report by ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Bagley, 27, averaged 10.5 points and 6.1 rebounds in 20 minutes per game last season. He appeared in 60 games between the Wizards and Mavericks, getting moved to Dallas as part of the Anthony Davis trade. The Nuggets will be his sixth team.
The 6-foot-10 big man was taken second overall in the 2018 NBA Draft by Sacramento, a pick that has become notorious because it was one spot before Luka Doncic.
