Broncos running back RJ Harvey was cleared to return to the game Sunday night against the Rams after being evaluated for a concussion. Harvey exited the game after a catch with 7:58 left in the third quarter. The Broncos running back tried to stay in the offensive huddle, but trainers corralled him off the field and took him to the blue medical tent. The team later announced he was being evaluated for a concussion.
The Central Florida product was not on the sidelines for the remainder of the third quarter. J.K. Dobbins and Tyler Badie were the only two remaining running backs on the roster against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night. Jonah Coleman was placed on the injured reserve with an ankle injury before the game. Harvey and Dobbins were both dealing with lower-body injuries this week before being cleared to play Sunday with no injury designation.
Harvey missed the team’s home opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a hamstring injury.
