Despite speculation swirling about his health status, Denver Broncos wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is “fine,” a source told The Denver Post.
A video appearing to be Waddle in a walking boot swirled online after the Broncos’ win over the Los Angeles Rams. Waddle was seen by reporters in the locker room after the game. The wideout played 49 snaps against the Rams, catching two passes for 10 yards on seven targets.
It’s not exactly clear when Waddle was injured during the Rams’ game, but on the Broncos’ final drive he appeared to get stepped on slipping out for a pass with 1:15 remaining in the game. He appeared to be limping on the following play, left the field for one snap and then returned to the field for one more play.

No reported injury so may very well be precautionary if he ‘tweaked’ something.
Sometimes these are used preventively for mild toe, foot and ankle injuries to decrease swelling and increase stability.

Mike Weber, who is Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain’s cousin and does marketing work for Surtain and Waddle, said “there’s nothing wrong” with Waddle in a Monday morning.
Waddle’s status for the team’s practice Wednesday is. It will be the team’s first practice of the week. Reporters will be in attendance for an early portion of practice and the team will release an injury report later in the day.
Broncos add practice squad linebacker
The Broncos signed outside linebacker Jahfari Harvey to the practice squad Tuesday afternoon. Harvey worked out for Denver earlier this month and takes the practice squad spot created when the team promoted longsnapper Mitchell Fraboni to the 53-man roster on Saturday.
Harvey played two games for Las Vegas last year. Across his collegiate career at Miami and Southern Methodist University, he recorded 130 tackles, 22 TFLs and 18 sacks.
The team’s practice squad is now full.
