DAHL--12-11-01--Sandy Dahl, widow of United Airlines captain Jason Dahl who was piloting United Airlines Fl. 93 which crashed in a field in Pennsylvania on September 11, unveiled this award plaque with her stepson, Matt Dahl, during an informal ceremony at the United Airlines Flight Training facility at the old Stapleton Airport site on Tuesday. The Capt. Jason Dahl Memorial Award will be given each year to the 757/767 standards captain of the year and their name will be included on the plaque. Sandy Dahl was also given a United Airlines flag by capt. Brad Thomann, managing director of the flight standards training.
