Josie Klemaier is part of the YourHub team as a reporter and page designer. She covers community news in Golden, Evergreen, Conifer and Morrison, as well as issues related to craft beer, the outdoors, history and culture. Klemaier studied journalism at Metropolitan State College of Denver聽and聽lives in the foothills in Jefferson County.

The Boettcher Mansion, celebrating it's 100th year, is was built in the arts and crafts architectural style as the Lorraine Lodge in 1917 as a summer estate for Charles Boettcher and his family. It was a private residence until it was donated to Jefferson County Open Space in the 1970s for public use. In 1984, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is now used as a meeting and event venue for rent.

Extended hours for food stamps and other services paying off for Jefferson County Human Services

Jefferson County Human Services started staying open until 8 p.m each Tuesday in October 2015 and the staff has seen benefits beyond just reaching more customers.
