At least 7 critically injured in explosion, fire at Denver retirement campus

The explosion and fire sent 10 people to the hospital and displaced 87 residents from the community鈥檚 assisted living and memory care units after construction workers hit a power line.

Meridian fire burning on 2,515 acres east of Colorado Springs is 80% contained

El Paso County officials initially estimated the fire was 4,000 acres, but revised the size to 3,000 acres Thursday night.
