Anthony Jones OBITUARY

Anthony Andrieus (Tony) Jones, 85, died peacefully at his home in Wilmington, NC surrounded by his family on August 6, 2026. He is survived by his wife Anne, brother Michael, son Adrian, daughter Sarah and four grandchildren. Tony was a passionate outdoorsman and beloved husband and father. He attended St. Mark’s high school in Southborough, MA and graduated from Princeton University in 1963. He received his Masters in Arab Studies from the American University of Beirut while teaching at International College in Beirut, Lebanon. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 27 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the Nativity Church in Scituate, MA. Donations in his memory may be made to American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA), Ducks Unlimited, The Nature Conservancy or Massachusetts Audubon Society.
