Richard Donald Zillmann passed away at his home in Littleton, Colorado on Wednesday, May 6th at the age of 88. He was born on May 14, 1937 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Richard is survived by his wife Judith Zillmann, his 2 children William Zillmann and wife Tabitha, Krista Watts and partner Terry Braddom, and step-daughter Kara Burns and husband Scott. Richard also leaves behind 9 grandchildren – Zac Zillmann, Morgan Fell, Madison Zillmann, Garrett Watts, Mikala Brown, Caitie Burns, Jordan LaCoste, Gage and Duke Madden and 4 great grandchildren with a 5th on the way. The values established by the church and the diversity of family were very dear to Richard.

Richard was a US Army veteran and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, making Colorado his home around 1970. Richard served as the SVP of Finance, Treasurer, and CFO of Coors Brewing company for 25 years. In retirement, Richard enjoyed the snowbird life living in Arizona, Las Vegas, and Colorado. Richard served on the board of Colorado Pera for over a decade. You could find Richard enjoying his passions of travel and horse racing throughout his life. Richard and Judith were the proud owners of several race horses including Bueno a champion filly.

Richard is predeceased by his parents Donald and Norma Zillmann, step-son Todd Madden, his Sister Judy Gerszewski, and the mother of his children Janet Barenscher.

Services for Richard Zillmann will be held on May 21st at 12:30 p.m. at Seven Stones Chatfield located at 9635 N Rampart Range Road, Littleton, CO 80125.
