Robert Snow OBITUARY

Robert “Bob” Emmet Snow was born to Arthur J. Snow and Katherine (Cottrell) Snow on October 6, 1921 in Denver, Colorado. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Mildred (Morley) and daughter Patricia. He is survived by children Darrell (Cathy), Ron (Mary), Larry (Margie), Robin Cohen, Alan (Marianne), Brian (Shari), Mary (Mike) Mucilli, 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Bob was a Pharmacist’s Mate First Class (T) in Word War II. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy in October of 1945. He spent 20 months overseas with the Marine Corps Second Division. Pacific Theatre service included the Marine invasions of Tarawa, Tinian and Saipan. After WWII, Bob continued in the family business started by his grandfather in 1890; Snow Construction Company. Some projects over the generations included masonry work at Loretto Heights, The Old Spaghetti Factory Restaurant and St. Elizabeth’s Church. Bob built many churches, schools and office buildings. The most prized among them being the St. Francis Interfaith Center on the same campus as St. Elizabeth’s Church built by his grandfather. Bob’s smiling face, card playing skills and unconditional love will be greatly missed by all. Gifts in his memory can be made to the charity of your choice or to Developmental Disabilities Resource Center (DDRC), 11177 W. 8th Ave., #300, Lakewood, CO 80215. Visitation, Sun. Jan. 28th from 5-7 PM followed by a Rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass, Mon., Jan. 29th at 11:30 AM, all at Archdiocese of Denver Mortuary. Burial to follow at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
