Twyla Boe OBITUARY

Twyla Mae Boe, 99, of Denver, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026. Twyla was born at home near Presho, South Dakota on March 19, 1926. She attended a one room school until 8th Grade. She finished grade and high school at Presho. She received a Bachelor’s degree from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Denver University, School of Social Work. She worked as a Social Worker in South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Colorado. In Colorado, she worked for the State Department of Social Services developing the State Plan of Payment for children of low-income families. She continued to administer the program throughout the state for 20 years. She loved puzzle books and had the kindest smile. She was always helping those in need. She leaves behind many family and friends.
