Denver’s Abraham Lincoln High School closed early today after officials noticed that a wall in a school stairwell had buckled.
Students were dismissed at the school, located at 2285 S. Federal Blvd., after the damage was spotted late this morning.
The damage is considered minor, Denver Public Schools officials said. Crews will repair the problem over the weekend.
Parents and students can check the DPS website (www.dpsk12.org) or call 720-423-3414 later in the weekend to check on whether the school will re-open Monday.
