U.S. organizations are members of InterAction, a coalition of relief, development and refugee assistance agencies. A list is also maintained on the federal government’s .
Fundraising events are listed by date at the bottom of the page, below the agencies and organizations.
Note: Send announcements or additions of fundraising events or organizations to gkasakawa@denverpost.com, and they’ll be added to the list below. We unfortunately will not be able to list every business that is planning to donate part of their proceeds to tsunami relief agencies, but we’ll be happy to add specific fundraising events sponsored by area businesses.

Saturday, Feb. 26
Ken Caryl Cares! On Saturday, February 26, from 9 to 3 pm, the entire Ken Caryl Ranch will have a charity garage sale to aid the children of the Indian Ocean tsunami. Hundreds of homes will participate and mark their sale with a bright blue balloon at curbside. All profits will be donated directly by checks addressed to Save the Children Relief Fund. Ken Caryl is a community of 4000 homes at the junture of C470 and Ken Caryl Avenue just southwest of Denver.
