A veritable tent village is being erected for the 2005 U.S. Women’s Open at the main spectators’ entrance near the intersection of University and Quincy.

The largest structure is the merchandise tent, which includes 8,200 square feet of floor space. Other tents will be set up for volunteers, juniors, ticket sales, concessions and disabled spectators. Fans going through the main spectators’ entrance will arrive near Cherry Hills’ 18th tee.

Also, John Elway has agreed to take part in a celebrity exhibition during the junior clinic on Tuesday of tournament week, June 21.
