Tea sandwiches, yes. Rocky Mountain oysters, no.

Comedian Mark De Carlo yucks his way through 30 minutes of Colorado foods on “Taste of America” (12:30 p.m. Sunday, Travel Channel).

He swoons over goat cheese at Haystack Mountain near Boulder; nibbles at buffalo parts, including those infamous oysters, with Sam Arnold at The Fort, and takes tea with the ladies in the Brown Palace lobby, which, teasing hotel spokeswoman Deborah Dix, he calls “your little flophouse.”

His best moments are with the legendary Arnold. Together, they do a splendid rendition of Arnold’s mountain-man toast. “Waughhhhhh!”
