Jason Saitta, 27, of Parker won his fifth Steamboat Springs Marathon on Sunday.
Saitta crossed the finish line at 6,728 feet with a time of 2 hours, 41 minutes, 2 seconds.
Monument’s Mike Wasson, 39, finished second (2:50:28), and last year’s winner, 42-year-old Steve Krebbs of Lakewood, was third in 2:50:42.
On the women’s side, 26-year-old Amy Shepard of Delta won in 3:07:06.
She was followed by Sandy Schuster, 44, of Denver and Shannon Kerth, 35, of Littleton.
Hunter Kemper of Colorado Springs finished fourth at a mini-triathlon in Madrid, Spain.
The competition consisted of a 1 1/2-kilometer swim, a 40K bike ride and a 10K run.
Kemper’s time of 1:55:33 was good enough to keep him in first place in the World Cup rankings.
