Getting your player ready...

Who: Rosey Waters of Louisville

Where: Prince Edward Theatre

Out and about: I spent lots of time visiting with friends and went to see several plays. I had learned to salsa dance since I was there last, so I was excited about checking out the salsa clubs. I discovered the London salsa scene is very multicultural with lots of big clubs, great music and fantastic dancers. I had a blast and even made some new friends!

Travel tip: You still can get a good price for a theater ticket, especially if you are flexible about what play you see. First buy a Time Out magazine. The theater section lists all the shows playing in London and has reviews of many. For West End shows, go to Leicester Square (pronounced LEH-

ster) to the half-price ticket booth. Beware there are tons of places right when you get out of the Leicester Square tube station saying “official half price ticket booth”- they are not! Go into Leicester Square and you will see the building marked “tkts.” Outside there is a list of all the shows available for half-price.
