Clear Creek County – Two men who set out to climb Mount Evans Sunday and did not return were found this morning by a CDOT supervisor.
The supervisor found the men on a Mount Evans road and transported them to Summit Lake. The two were cold, but nothing further has been released about their conditions.
Rescue crews had been looking for the pair on the mountain which had high winds and snow overnight.
The men began their climb at 8 a.m. Sunday. They planned to climb the mountain by going through Sawtooth Ridge to Mount Bierstadt and back.
