7 p.m. “Trading Spouses”
A New York mom and a Texas mom trade places. The Texas mom has to
adjust to life in a big city and a more diverse, vibrant culture than
she has ever known. The New York mom just has to speak slowly, avoid
big words and tease her hair higher. Fox
7 p.m. “The Average Joe”
This time the average-looking contestants have to compete with seven
hunks for the privilege of dating a swimsuit model, confronting the
kind of mental cruelty and superficiality rarely seen outside an
American high school. NBC
7 p.m. “Gilmore Girls”
This is a repeat of the episode where Rory and Lorelai go on a double
date with their respective love interests. It’s rated EWWWWW for
seriously icky content. WB
8 p.m. “Empire”
This lavish miniseries takes viewers back to imperial Rome where the
ruling class enjoys shameless luxury while the common man struggles
against a cruel economy trapped beneath the yoke of poverty for the
benefit of a privileged few. Good thing that doesn’t happen any more..
