As 1,400 new cadets were welcomed at the Air Force Academy on Thursday, the chief of staff of the Air Force reminded commanders that promoting their religious faith is against regulations.
Complaints had led to an investigation that found no overt discrimination but some cases of insensitivity.
The new cadets represent the largest class since the class of 1992.
Thursday marked the 50th anniversary of the arrival of cadets at the academy.
