Be cool, honey bunny.
Somehow, the Mile High city makes it a point to be just as hot as it is cool.
While that works wonders for our national reputation, it often leaves our low-income seniors high and dry. And hot.
Cool Down Colorado! is a volunteer program that delivers hundreds of box fans to sweltering seniors who might not be able to afford their own wind.
Sometimes, a cool breeze makes it all worth it, and your volunteer hours are the start of the wind machine.

Club 404 on Broadway is still home to Tuesday Movie Night.
There’s not much that compliments a rented VHS video quite like one of Denver’s favorite dive bars and $2 you-call-its til 10:30, and kicking back to watch a movie with a bunch of strangers.
Check out their new dining room, too! Club 404 has been busy with a bit of a facelift, but aside from their more modern decor, you can still count on their standby service and movie nights.
What: Movie night at Club 404
Where: 404 Broadway, 7:30ish
