Who: John, Lillian and son Valen Prymak of Evergreen
Where: LaRopa Beach, Zihuatanejo, Mexico
Out and about: A great place for families. Zih offers a great beach for swimming, walking and building sand castles. Quaint, inexpensive hotels are along LaRopa beach. Lots to do, from sailing, sunning, diving and exploring. You can walk along the beach and have your choice of many funky resturants and bars … no shoes allowed. All have great food and margs. Zih is a nice alternative to the busy destination like Playa del Carmen, Mazatlan or Puerto Vallerta.
Travel tip: Be sure to go into downtown Zih. It’s a nice walk or short cab ride. They have a wonderful restaurant area, marketplace and fish market. All very clean and safe. Avoid the Ixtapa area nearby – too many tourist and high-rise hotels for our tastes.
