The Backstreet Boys four weeks ago released “Never Gone,” their first studio album in five years. It reached No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200, but has fallen to No. 23. It could head back up the chart as the Boys start an extended tour. The lads dance into the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland on Aug. 23. Philip Glass comes to the Boulder Theater on Feb. 14 for “an evening with” concert. His performance will feature “Etudes for Piano” and other compositions for solo piano. Tickets to see one of today’s most popular and admired classical composers are on sale ($44, 303-786-7030).

Nine Inch Nails and frontman Trent Reznor plan to play more than 30 North American cities on an arena tour this fall. In May, Nails released “With Teeth,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. The seminal industrial rockers play the World Arena in Colorado Springs on Oct. 4 ($43.50-$48.50, TicketsWest) and the Pepsi Center on Oct. 5 ($42.50-$49, Ticketmaster). Tickets to the shows go on sale at noon Saturday.

Lyle Lovett, Jo Dee Messina, Gretchen Peters, John McEuen and Matt Cartsonis, the Del McCoury Band, the Gibson Brothers Band and Mark Selby with Tia Sillers are among the many artists booked for the Copper Country festival, Sept. 2-5 at Copper Mountain. The event also includes special children’s activities, screening of Western films and a Southwestern arts show.
