Getting your player ready...

Q: Thank you so much for your words of encouragement! You have no idea
how much I needed them right now.

I wanted to give you an update. I left
last night…for good! In a crazed frenzy my neighbor and I put my clothes
from the “guest room” in plastic bags, threw them in the truck and I left!

A
co-worker is letting me stay with her until I can find a place. What awesome
friends I have.

I’m so scared right now, scared of her, scared of starting
over. I know in time I will heal, right now however, I’m just plain scared.

Those awesome friends of mine are meeting me at the “house” to help me pack
my things and move them to a friend’s storage unit. I actually have to
request a police escort, yeah it’s that bad.

Well, wish me luck! I will let
you know how things are going in a few weeks. It can only get
better…right?

Truly,

SCOTT: I can’t tell you how happy I am that you left the abusive relationship.
Congratulations!

Your life can only get better, because you’ve removed
yourself from the drama. That relationship was seriously detrimental to your
well-being, and the fact that you needed a police escort to move out only
supports this.

I know the future is scary, but it’s not as scary as it
would’ve been had you not changed your destiny.

You deserve more, and I hope you can now begin to see that. Good luck, and
never be fooled again about how you should be treated in a relationship.
