Lopez: Diva image just PR
Robert Luketic, director of “Monster-in-Law,” wanted to know if Jennifer Lopez really was a diva. So he asked her.
“I said, ‘I know about you, I heard what you were doing in Telluride,”‘ said Luketic, quoted by contactmusic.com. “And she said, ‘No, that was my publicity people making those demands. I didn’t even know they were asking for those things. I didn’t know they were asking for candles and lilies in my rooms. These things just appeared, and these demands became as if they came straight from my mouth.”‘
Luketic conceded working with Lopez was not stress-free. “No doubt she can be a piece of work, but she’s not the monster that people think. I’m a bigger diva than her.”
