300 antique autos to be on display
The Antique Automobile Club of America will bring up to 300 antique cars to Northglenn today and Saturday to display at its Grand National Meet.
The event, held on the grounds surrounding the Northglenn Recreation Center, 11801 and 11701 Community Center Drive, is free and open to the public.
Celeste Flores, spokeswoman for the city, said up to 2,000 people are expected to attend.
This is the first year Northglenn has hosted the meet, Flores said. The event is held in Western cities in odd years and Eastern cities in even years.
Members of the organization will bring cars 25 years or older to display and compete in various contests.
