Out and about: When Denverites are fighting snow in mid-winter, their thoughts often turn to someplace warm. Dian and Steve Frank recently went to Vieques, Puerto Rico, where the temperatures hovered in the 70s and the skies were mostly blue. The Wyndham Martineau Bay Resort hotel was the setting for their son Daniel’s wedding with Susanna Colton, daughter of Lorraine Karen of Denver and Dr. Al Colton of Niwot. It takes a lot of work to get to the Wyndham on Vieques. The secluded hotel still has some rough edges to knock off, but overall, the experience was pleasant. Rooms and a dining veranda overlook a pool and the Atlantic.
