Keep your eyes open and don’t be afraid to consider what may seem to be an ugly duckling. You can’t rely on looks alone this week if you want to find someone who could be important to your love life.
Be willing to shift the paradigm and find someone who makes you laugh, understands you and is interesting. What a change, huh?
If you find it completely impossible to look below the surface, you won’t find love.
This isn’t the time to take the back seat to anyone, or anything, when it comes to your romantic desires and ideals.
Be on the lookout for a late week rendezvous.
Visit the Denver Art Museum or Botanical Gardens for the right sort of atmosphere.
The best days to search for love will be Thursday through the weekend.
Taurus
April 20 to May 20
Some of the problems you’ve had when it comes to romance may due to an inability to communicate your deepest desires.
Use this week to investigate how you come across to people, especially those with whom you’d like to have a close romantic engagement. This may mean a complete self-evaluation, even to the point of being totally honest with yourself (be brave!).
It’s important that you see exactly how you appear to others physically, emotionally and intellectually. If you can’t be frank and candid about yourself, this process won’t work.
It might be a good idea to seek the help of a friend, one you can trust completely, who’ll tell you the truth regardless of how icky it may seem.
Once you’ve decided what’s been holding you back, begin making changes in how you deal romance.
It’s not as important to get out and meet people this week as it is that you understand what they see when you do meet them.

Your personal energies are bubbling over so make sure to carry a drip pan wherever you go.
You’ll be on fire with desire and your charisma will be like a beacon calling all lost ships into your harbor. All of this can make for an incredibly exciting week unless you aren’t paying close attention and you let the pirates in as well.
You need to be on top of things if you want the week to be as complete and wonderful as it can be. The first thing you need to do is rid yourself of preconceived notions when it comes to romance. That’s right, clear last night’s dinner off the table ( I’ll bet you’re wondering how I knew that) and begin anew.
If you can truly look at romance as a brand new endeavor and forget about the past, especially the past few months worth, you’ll do very well.
Take an opportunity to socialize if offered.
The only day that bodes ill for love is Friday. Other than that, the week should be quite interesting.

Any relationship that doesn’t have a total sense of balance in it must be scuttled. This could mean the beginning of the end for a current relationship.
Of course, how and whether you deal with this is up to you, but you’d be well advised to at least consider why you are where you are and perhaps how you got there. (Mapquest might be helpful with this one.)
The energies are such that any unresolved dissatisfaction will begin to eat at the foundation of your self-esteem and confidence. This could be difficult, if not disastrous, as time goes on.
This week’s energies are attempting to put you into a better position to find a relationship that’s worthwhile and equally beneficial for all parties.
Be on the lookout for someone who’s drawn to you. In fact, the best strategy is to use your charisma to pull someone to you, rather than attempting to be boastful, vociferous, a know it all, and all the other things that most of us are drawn to. This week is about change and self-determination.
It’s possible that you’ve been trying to deal with issues of an emotional nature for quite some time. Make a decision or two and stop blaming yourself for the past.
Destroy illusions about yourself, those around you, old relationships and affairs of the heart. You’re ready to make a major change in your life, one that will be conducive to finding the type of relationship you’ve been looking for.
This will only occur if you’re diligent and willing to pay attention to the signs as they come. This means not reacting in a reflexive manner to situations that arise. No knee jerk rescuing of damsels, making chicken soup or other noble reactions allowed.
Chances are you’ll meet someone this week who, like you, is looking for a change in their romantic life. They’re probably tired of always being the giver and never receiving. This could be the person for you. The mutual energies shared will make certain that neither one of you takes advantage of the other… at least not in the beginning. You’ll have to see how events unfold as time goes on.
Your best bet for meeting this type will be where books abound. The Tattered Cover, a local B&N or a library may fill the need.

Looking for everlasting love isn’t the key to happiness this week.
If you’re looking for Mr. or Ms. right, you’ll make the mistake of trying to force someone to fit into that category. The well-known square hole, round peg strategy. Such a forceful attempt could result in a miserable connection that’ll last several weeks at a minimum, and the better part of a lifetime at worst.
The key is not to focus on the longevity, but rather on the quality of the relationship and chemistry between the two of you. These are often two separate issues so try to keep them as such.
Get out of your local, regular routine if you want to meet the type of person who can enhance your life. Don’t be afraid to be drawn by physical attraction.
This week, animal energy is not only allowed but should provide you with the type of acknowledgment that you need in order to find the right person.
Of course, as always, any relationship should be kept conscious and never allowed to be impulsive or dangerous.
One word of warning, you may meet someone who has a very restrictive point of view. They may be steeped in dogma or some sort of strange philosophy. If they begin discussing their adventures with anal probing aliens, say goodbye to them, at least for now. At the very least, you don’t want to be with them the next time they’re “visited.”

The opportunity to meet at least one new person, and as many as four or five, is quite possible. The important issue is not whether or not you’ll meet them, but how you’ll deal with them when they appear.

This week’s opportunities are centered around dealing with people, impressing them and making them desire you. How, you may ask. If you allow your inner self to come through, it’ll be a slam dunk. Please use this power for good, if you can.
If you just can’t always do the right thing, be willing to apologize and start over again. It’s the only way you’ll salvage what might be a very good relationship.

Get out of your rut!
If you’re feeling sorry for yourself regarding your love life, try to let it go.
This isn’t to say that you haven’t been victimized. Chances are you have been. We’ve all been abused, some of us self-abused (please, don’t go there) and the time has come for you to be confident and try your hand again. (There you go again.)
You’ll have to be completely honest with yourself and move beyond your normal parameters of what love should be.

If that so-so connection has run its course and you’re ready to move forward, gather up your courage and do just that. Yes, it may be a Herculean labor, but it could eventually set you up for what may be a better relationship as time goes on.
If, on the other hand, you’ve been out of the dating loop for some time, immerse yourself into the culture. Join an online dating service or engage in some speed dating. Whatever the case, you need to be proactive and believe in yourself.
