Bonnie Raitt has announced a fall theater tour that will extend into mid-December. It is in support of her new album, “Souls Alike,” which lands in stores Sept. 13. Raitt herself is due at the Fillmore Auditorium on Nov. 8. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday ($39.50-$42, Ticketmaster).
Gang of Four has a new album arriving later this month. It’s the first one in more than 20 years with original members Jon King, Andy Gill, Hugo Burnham and Dave Allen. “Return the Gift” features recently rerecorded versions of songs from the group’s catalog. The post-punk pioneers visit the Gothic Theatre on Oct. 15. Tickets go on sale Saturday ($20, TicketWeb).
George Clinton and Parliament/Funkadelic headline the “P-Funk Nation celebration” at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Sept. 15. The godfather of funk will be joined by the Children of Production, featuring Fred Wesley, Joi, Raphael Saadiq, Stephen Perkins and others. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday ($35- $100, Ticketmaster).
Luis Miguel delivers Latin pop so smooth it has made him a superstar in Latin America since 1990. He also has found success in the United States, where two of his Spanish-language albums have gone platinum. Miguel appears Oct. 4 at Magness Arena. The Fray celebrates its first CD on the Epic label, “How to Save a Life,” with a release party for the hometown folks. The Denver-based band also is opening nine dates for Weezer this summer.
