LILT WOMEN’S MUSIC FESTIVAL

This annual all-day music event started in 2002 to promote and inspire Colorado’s female musicians. This year’s installment Saturday at The Foxhole, 2936 Fox St., spotlights Mary Beth Abella, the Melanie Susuras Band and Misty Odell. Live music starts at noon. DJs take over around 10 p.m. $15-$20. BABIHED

These surf-punkers parted ways nine years ago after four years rocking the local scene. The group is back together now working on material for its forthcoming CD. That means old songs and new ones will characterize their headlining gig Saturday at Cricket on the Hill, 1209 E. 13th Ave. 9 p.m. $5-$6.

THE HIGHLAND MOUNTAIN BOYS

A former punk-rock drummer and a guitar player rooted in classic country forged this “Rocky Mountain country band.” Tuesday the duo opens the Bluebird Theater, 3317 E. Colfax Ave., for country music outlaw (and Waylon Jennings’ son) Shooter Jennings. 9 p.m. $11-$13.
