Bertuzzi, Bettman bedfellows
When is the NHL going to get a commissioner with some conviction, class and a sense of decency and fairness. I was surprised to see Gary Bettman stoop to the same level of thug Todd Bertuzzi by administering a slap on the wrist to Bertuzzi for ending Steve Moore’s career. Does Bettman think fans are stupid enough to forget the merciful terms of the suspension by using the lengthy lockout as a cloak for his tactics?

Bolting after May signing
Hockey in Colorado has forever been changed. Sure, I could point out the obvious with the salary cap and the loss of Adam Foote and Peter Forsberg, but I am more concerned about the hockey goonery that has been ushered in with the signing of Brad May. The decision to sign one of Todd Bertuzzi’s accomplices is a whole new level of what is despicable in a sport that has lost favor with the fans. It appears the Pioneers or Eagles will have a new season ticket-holder.

Why May? He’s a goon
Why has the Avalanche signed Brad May? This guy is just a goon who was listed in Steve Moore’s lawsuit for the Todd Bertuzzi incident. Remember Moore? Broken neck, right? It sure doesn’t look like the Avs remember him. The fans do not want that guy here!

Act like a pro, Sergio!
Watching Sergio Garcia putt the last nine holes and his gestures, you don’t think he was trying NOT to make the cut at The International so he could get ready for the PGA? No! A real pro doesn’t do that (or does he?).
