“Peace in the Park” event|The Non-Violence Resource Team of the Rocky Mountain Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is having Peace in the Park, an event from noon to 6 p.m. at Messiah Community Church, 1750 Colorado Blvd. Drinks and ice cream will be provided; take a picnic. Activities will include cooperative games, poetry, and music. Take a poem, song, dance or work of art to share.

Prospective member orientation|B’nai Havurah, the Colorado Jewish Reconstructionist Federation, 6445 E. Ohio Ave., Denver, is having a prospective member orientation at noon, following the 9:30 a.m. Shabbat services.

Taize service|St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 3350 White Bay Drive, Highlands Ranch, is having Taize services at 6:45 p.m. A labyrinth will be available for meditation and prayer from 4 p.m. until the service.

Christian musician performs|Christian musician Carman will give a free concert at 7 p.m. at Power Invasion Ministries, 455 S. Platte River Drive, Denver.

“God’s will” seminar|”Exploring the Mystery of God’s Sovereign Will,” the first session in a three-day free seminar by speaker and writer F.
