Jefferson Lake road
Beginning Sept. 7, the last 1.5 miles of the road to Jefferson Lake in Park County will be closed intermittently to facilitate paving and culvert installation.
The closure will be in effect Monday through Friday, with 10-minute access periods at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Full access will be available Saturday and Sunday during a construction period projected to last through September.

Hunters who plan to participate in the several upland game bird seasons beginning Thursday are required to participate in a Harvest Information Program survey conducted jointly by the state and federal government, culminating in a designated number to be affixed to a small game license.
