A reward of $1,000 has been offered for information that leads to the arrest of a poacher who killed a four- point bull elk with an arrow near Grand Lake. The incident occurred Aug. 26, one day before the start of archery season. Information should be delivered to Operation Game Thief, toll free, 877-COLO-OGT. Callers do not have to leave a name.
Fishing clinic
The Colorado Division of Wildlife will offer a warm- water fishing seminar 6-9 p.m. Friday at the Community Building in Limon. The free class will teach the basics of fishing for bass, panfish, walleye and catfish and is limited to the first 40 people who register, phone 719-775-2025.
