Kiszla, Lubick way off base

Mark Kiszla and Sonny Lubick just don’t get it. To Colorado season ticket-holders, the issue about whether to play at Invesco or Folsom Field is not about money, and not about disrespect to CSU.

We buy season tickets because we relish the experience of spending a day on a beautiful campus, and watching a college football game in a college football stadium. We get to do it six times a year, and we are not inclined to make it five so that 30,000 friends of corporate sponsors with no ties to either program can silently watch the game while we are relegated to the cheap seats.

If Lubick prefers to replace CU on the schedule with Nebraska at Invesco Field, I encourage him to do so. Just quit telling CU supporters to sacrifice the college football experience to placate CSU and Kiszla.

We live in Colorado, right?

With the onset of another college football season, The Denver Post has again achieved a new low in its coverage of the “local” football programs! In great anticipation of this week’s CU-CSU game, I opened The Post to find an article on Nebraska’s QB situation. I had to thumb back in the section to find any news on the “local” programs. Does anyone at The Post see anything wrong? I live in Colorado and would like to read about Colorado’s programs.
