Brett Favre, Green Bay QB
Needs 266 passing yards to join Dan Marino (61,361) and John Elway (51,475) as the only players in NFL history with 50,000 passing yards.
Needs 1,742 passing yards to pass Elway and move into second place all-time. In 14 seasons, Favre has passed for 49,734 yards.
Has passed for 376 touchdowns and needs 24 to join Marino (420) as the only players in NFL history with 400 touchdown passes.
Needs three touchdown passes at Lambeau Field for the single-stadium NFL record. Has thrown 178 touchdown passes at Lambeau and trails only Elway’s mark of 180 at Mile High Stadium.
Needs 14 wins to pass Elway (148) for the most wins by a quarterback. In 14 seasons, Favre has won 135 games.
Needs 248 passing attempts to pass Elway (7,250) and move into second place all-time. In 14 seasons, Favre has 7,003 passing attempts.
Drew Bledsoe, Dallas QB
Needs 192 passing yards to become the 10th player in NFL history to pass for 40,000 yards. In 12 seasons, has 39,808 passing yards.
Needs 238 completions to pass Fran Tarkenton (3,686) and move into fifth place all-time. In 12 seasons, Bledsoe has completed 3,449 passes.
Peyton Manning, Indianapolis QB
Has thrown 82 touchdown passes to wide receiver Marvin Harrison, and the duo needs four TDs to pass Steve Young-Jerry Rice (85) for the most touchdowns by an NFL quarterback-receiver tandem.
Has teamed with Harrison for 702 completions and 9,410 yards. The duo owns the NFL record for the most completions by a tandem and needs 129 yards to pass Jim Kelly-Andre Reed (9,538) for the most yardage by NFL teammates.
Daunte Culpepper, Minnesota QB
Needs 3,000 passing yards and 400 rushing yards to become the first quarterback in NFL history with five seasons of 3,000 passing yards and 400 rushing yards. Culpepper is the only player to accomplish the feat in four seasons.
Curtis Martin, N.Y. Jets RB
Needs 1,000 rushing yards to join Emmitt Smith as the only players to rush for 1,000 yards in 11 seasons.
Has rushed for 13,366 yards in 10 seasons. Needs 1,634 rushing yards to become the fourth player in NFL history with 15,000 rushing yards.
Jerome Bettis, Pittsburgh RB
Has rushed for 13,294 yards in 12 seasons. Needs 1,706 rushing yards to become the fourth player in NFL history with 15,000 rushing yards.
Needs 1,000 rushing yards to move into sole possession of fifth place all-time in career 1,000-yard seasons. In 12 seasons, Bettis has rushed for 1,000 yards eight times, tied with Tony Dorsett, Franco Harris and Thurman Thomas.
Marshall Faulk, St. Louis RB
Needs 11 touchdowns to pass Marcus Allen (145) and move into third place all-time. In 11 seasons, Faulk has scored 135 touchdowns.
Has rushed for 100 touchdowns in his 11-year career and needs 11 rushing touchdowns to pass John Riggins (104), Jim Brown (106) and Walter Payton (110) to move into third place all-time.
Has gained 2,000 yards four times in his career, tied for most in NFL history. With one more 2,000-yard season, Faulk will pass Eric Dickerson and Payton for most all-time.
Needs 1,393 combined yards to become the fifth player in NFL history with 20,000 combined yards. In 11 seasons, Faulk has gained 18,607 combined yards.
