My favorite team: Our softball team.

Best thing on my training table: Lasagna.

Pregame ritual: For our team, we all stretch and warm up the same way, but I just warm up and pitch.

Time management tip: I don’t have fourth period. I spend it at home doing homework and get as much done until practice, then come home and finish.

Planned career: Undecided. I enjoy a lot of things.

My family: Parents Dana and Allen, sister Keri and brother Aaron.

I would love to visit: Greece.

What I like most about high school sports: Playing not only with my teammates, but it’s fun and challenging, and you’re doing it for the school.

What I like least about high school sports: I don’t like practice every single day. It makes it hard on homework and other things.

The Denver Post recognizes a female and male student-athlete of the week. At the end of the school year, 10 finalists will be chosen. Ultimately, The Post and The Denver Athletic Club will select one boy and one girl as student-athletes of the year, and a substantial donation will be made to a local charity in their names.
