
Boulder real-estate developer Terry O’Connor died Sunday of heart failure.
An Omaha native, O’Connor, 63, was a partner and chief executive of the O’Connor Group in Boulder. The firm owns and manages over 800,000 square feet of commercial, retail, research and development and warehouse space in the Boulder/Louisville area.
O’Connor was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and enjoyed bicycling, skiing, Italian wine and mountain croquet.
He was involved in the Boulder and Louisville chambers of commerce, the Urban Land Institute, Boulder Tomorrow, the Boulder Rotary Club and the Gut Grinder Bicycle Club.
He contributed regularly to Colorado UpLift, Student Venture, Holy Name High School and Youth With a Mission.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki O’Connor; sons Trevor O’Connor of Houston and Ryan O’Connor of Los Angeles; stepsons Chris Rebich of Boulder and Erik Rebich of Denver; stepdaughter Amy Rebich of Lafayette; sister Julie Brunson of Lexington, Ky.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is 3 p.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 2312 14th St., Boulder, followed by Mass of Christian burial. Private burial will be at Green Mountain Cemetery in Boulder.
